Brad Bell
Senior Pastor
Brad is the founder of Impact Church and serves as senior pastor. He has a bachelor’s and master’s degree and has worked as a physical therapist in the Lynchburg/Bedford area since September 2000.
He initially answered the Lord’s call to ministry as an evangelist in 2002 and has over 20 years of ministry and Bible teaching experience. He has led the Power Source ‘Feats of Strength’ ministry team where he spoke at many different venues and had the privilege of seeing thousands come to Christ.
Through this ministry experience, the Lord began to call him to step into full-time ministry and plant Impact Church here in Forest, VA. Brad has the heart and dedication to preach the full counsel of God’s word unapologetically, and teach the Bible in a way that is deep, but also clearly understood for life-changing application as the Spirit of the Lord moves all who hear. His vision is to reach the community for Christ through outreach and discipleship ministries and see lives changed and people walking in obedience to the Lord and His word. He is married to his wife, Stacie, and has 2 children, Braydon and Kylie.
Tim Witt
Executive Pastor
Tim has spent over half of his life dedicated to serving the Lord through encouraging young people and partnering with parents to raise the next generation of God’s appointed leaders. He spent many years in youth ministry until God called him to be a part of the church planting team at Impact Church.
Tim has received a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and a master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling. He uses his knowledge to serve the community and members of Impact Church through discipleship and counseling. His focus is on college ministries and marriage and family counseling. He is married to his wife, Angie, and has 2 children, Micah and Baylie.
Tony Bowen
Worship Leader
Tony has served as Worship Pastor for over 25 years at churches in Georgia, South Carolina, and Virginia where he has passionately taught and encouraged others to live a life of true Biblical Worship. In January 2020, Tony and his family moved to Lynchburg, VA to pursue more education at Liberty University. He will complete his Master’s Degree in Worship Studies: Leadership in December 2022 and will begin his Doctoral Degree in Worship Studies: Leadership in January 2023.
He joined the Impact Ministry Team in the Fall of 2021. Tony and his wife of 33 years, Karen, are passionate to lead others in worship and desire to influence the next generation of worship leaders and musicians for the glory of God. Tony’s philosophy of worship is to lead others to truly love God and worship Him through a daily life of devotion and surrender.
Tony and Karen have 3 adult daughters, Anna, Ashley, and Amy.
William “Butch” Chapman
Pastor of Discipleship
Butch became a Christ follower at the age of seventeen. Shortly after trusting Christ as Savior and Lord, he began to sense God’s leadership toward a call to pastoral ministry. Soon after he attended and graduated from Liberty Baptist College with a Pastoral Ministries Major and a Minor in Greek and Theology. While serving on the faculty and staff of Liberty University, he completed his Master of Religious Education. He has also completed 30 hours post-graduate toward his Doctor of Ministries Degree with a concentration in Leadership from Liberty University John W. Rawlings School of Divinity. He has served as Associate Pastor, Minister of Education, Christian School Principal, and Senior Pastor in churches in Virginia, Florida, Colorado, Texas, and Michigan. In 2003 he returned to Liberty University as an Online Professor in the John W. Rawlings School of Divinity.
Butch joined the Impact Ministry Team in the winter of 2024 after attending the church as a member for several years. Butch and his wife Adria are committed to training and helping others to develop their discipleship relationship with Christ.
Butch and Adria have three children and thirteen grandchildren.
Jeremy Lee
Youth Leader
Jeremy has spent the last 10 years of his life serving in Student Ministries either as a Youth Leader or as a Youth Pastor. He currently works full-time at Liberty overseeing field maintenance/landscaping for the Liberty Athletic Fields. He has a passion to teach, lead, and grow the next generation of children to know who they are in the image of Christ and to help them fulfill their calling to disciple others. He is married to his wife Courtney.
